There is no shortage of food on this earth, despite the manifold people living here, as We Feed The World has shown, what is lacking are means of distribution – If only! What is lacking is the will to distribute. Same with CO², or emission, or pollution of nature, or overconsumption. The means to stop each and everyone of them within the time of a year are there. The will to do so is not. If a single one thinks that by him/her stopping to run a bulb at night, a change is made, it is an illusion an it stays one even if his/her whole neighbourhood takes a liking to the idea. Even if the whole region is engulfed by the idea, it will not change. That factory over there will work at night nonetheless. By doing so, and be it only 5 days a week, it will consume more energy than an entire region of middle-sized housholds.
